Accessing the game
To access the game you will need a metamask wallet (support coming for other wallets). If you are unfamiliar with metamask, there is a link explaining what they do in their words, and a video teaching you how to set up the wallet. Wallets like metamask allow a user to connect their wallet or hardware wallet to internet applications. For example for this game, when you mint a token through our website you connect your wallet with our website securely using the metamask extension, the website sets up the transaction for you to view, review and then verify. Additionally when logging in our site it will request a user to “sign” a transaction which costs no gas (free) proving they own a specific public address.
- Create a metamask wallet!
- Switch to the Goerli Test Network
- Log into Metamask
- Click the Metamask Icon
- Click the Account portrait Icon in the upper right.
- Click Settings
- Click Advanced Settings
- Toggle Show Testnetwork
- Click Dropdown that says "Ethereum Mainnet" and change it to "Goerli TestNetwork
- Request some test ETH from a faucet!
- Join Discord and Twitter, and wait for updates!
WARNING: Please be aware of what network is currently active in your metamask. Mainnet accounts and test chains and other side chains can not interact with each other. After the beta we recommend sending any left over ETH to the faucet and changing the setting back so you can't switch to the test network.

The whitepapers, while technical, are brief explanations of the technology by the creators. We recommend reading the Bitcoin and Ethereum Whitepaper. A skim or light read in the beginning and reading them again after you have watched some videos or maybe even used the ETH testnet.
While this game isn't deployed on the Bitcoin blockchain this explainer video explains the basics of Bitcoin, and (Proof of Work, PoW) blockchain in general. This video explains the basics of NFTs which are Smart Contacts or autonomous pieces of code that can be interacted with but not changed or tampered with after deployment. Blockchain Safety
"Never share or lose your PRIVATE key!","Not your keys, not your wallet." these are some of the words of wisdom given to every crypto noob. And they are the golden rules which all other safeguards derive. If your key is stored on a compromised computer then you have lost your funds. If someone finds or you lose the paper wallet that holds your keys your funds are gone. These are some of the common blunders that lead to sensation headlines like "man searching landfill for millions of $s in Bitcoin." However the crypto space is full of scammers that use phishing and other social engineering to steal your tokens and other crypto. Please take the time to read about common scams.

A way to keep your keys off of an internet connected device (protecting you from malware) while still being able to sign transactions is to use a hardware wallet. Currently our team uses Ledger wallets, we recommend hardware wallets for anyone with who plans to use crypto regularly. Cold wallets are best for long term storage because losing the paper key is the only means of failure. Wallets loaded on computers for daily use are susceptible to malware and software exploits. The hardware wallet air gapss your private key from the internet, however "blind signing" a transaction negates this benefit. Note- we do get a small commission if you use the following link.
